Mission and Outreach
... to serve our local community and share the love that we've received from our savior and friend, Jesus Christ.
“... All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...” (Matthew 28:18-20)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
Commanded by the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by identifying and using our spiritual gifts we will bring the Gospel into the communities of Aurora, Newmarket and surrounding areas.
IN OUR COMMUNITY WE
· donate food to the Food Bank
· organize outreach activities such as: Fun Fair, All Saints party, Easter Egg Hunt etc. which are open to the public.
· offer a Homework club where we give opportunities to high school students to volunteer as tutors to help younger students with their homework
· run successful summer programs such as: Soccer camp, Vacation Bible School, and Camping in teepees.
· cooperate with other churches in inter-community activities
